Thermography

Infrared cameras for thermography

Are you looking for an infrared camera that you can use quickly and easily to present your thermal images in your reports?

Then why not hire our thermography package - complete with software. You can't get a better bargain for money!

We are also able to offer you a number of interesting package deals in addition to our daily renting prices.

Why it pays to hire: zero capital commitment - only hire for as long as needed - immediate cost amortisation.

Thermography: Fields of application

In the field of construction structure analysis or in preventive maintenance in the industrial sector, thermography already plays a vital part.

With this technique, buildings can be individually examined concerning their thermal insulation. Thermal bridges, moist spots and defects in the structure can be detected reliably, and also leakages in water or heating pipe systems can easily be traced.

Also in the industrial sector, thermographic examinations can deliver fast and nondestructive insights regarding possible defects or looming malfunctions. There is only one reason that used to speak against the use of thermal cameras for such applications: The unfavorable cost-benefit ratio, when a high quality thermal camera is only used occasionally or even just once for a certain project.

With our rental service this problem belongs to the past - once and for all!

Now maintainers, engineers, architects, planners and craftsmen can benefit from the advantages of this indispensable measuring technique!

All our rental items are highly professional measuring instruments and are delivered ready-to-use and with the corresponding software.

Functional principle of thermography

Thermography this sounds much more complicated than it is. To put it simply, thermal cameras measure and visualize the thermal energy that is radiated from an object.

This thermal or infrared energy is transmitted by light waves which are beyond the wave spectrum that is perceivable to the human eye. It is part of the electromagnetic spectrum, which we perceive as heat.

Every object with a temperature that lies above the absolute zero, radiates thermal energy, i.e. heat. Because of this, even really cold objects, like for example icicles, can be captured thermographically, provided that the measuring range of the camera captures thermal energy within this range.

The higher the thermal energy of a certain object is, the more intense the infrared radiation becomes. This is why with a thermal camera you can depict details of an object that otherwise remains invisible to the human eye.

Thermal cameras capture infrared radiation precisely and contact-free and with these data they produce a visual representation as infrared images, so called thermograms. With this technique, constructional structures can reliably be examined for their insulation qualities or their leakproofness.

Due to the physical effect, that technical components become significantly hotter before they finally fall out, thermographic measurements can also be very helpful in preventive maintenance and in the technical service of industrial machines or components. Especially in this field, thermography convinces in comparison to other techniques by its easy handling and its cost efficiency.
